Music has been a constant companion in my life for as long as I can remember. Even from an early age, my passion for classical music was ignited. Perhaps it’s because classical music forms a significant part of the soundtrack of films, which is another one of my great interests. I’ve heard my mother tell that when I was just 3 years old, I declared my desire to learn how to play the violin. Although I never learned to play the violin, I started playing the piano when I turned 8.

After many years as a pianist with a focus on classical music, changes occurred in my life that led to the piano being neglected for many years. But when I turned 19, I found myself in a life situation that allowed me to return to music and play an instrument with renewed enthusiasm. I’ve always admired bands like Queen and Guns N’ Roses, as well as guitar legends such as Brian May and Slash. These musical icons sparked a passion within me and motivated me to learn to play the guitar. For years, I practiced for up to 8 hours a day, and my life was dedicated to the dream of making a living from playing music.

My journey took a new direction when I started an HF education with music as my main subject. It was there that I met Birk and Claus, and together, we formed the band Junkyard Drive. I initially started as a bassist, but after just one concert, I had to admit that I was more of a guitarist than a bassist. We found another bassist, and I began playing guitar as the second guitarist alongside Birk as the lead guitarist. During the eight years that I was part of this band family, we experienced everything from small local gigs to significant performances both in Denmark and abroad. We recorded an EP and three full-length albums. It was during the recording of these three albums at Medley Studio in Copenhagen that my interest in pursuing the dream of working as a sound engineer in a studio was genuinely awakened.

So when I was accepted into Sonic College in 2021, there was only one way to go. I wholeheartedly focused on my education as a sound designer and aspired to become one of the best in the field. I always give 120% in everything I do, and it’s my passion for music and sound that drives me in my pursuit of this exciting career path.
